Most accountants pitch themselves to clients the same way, by discussing the mechanical aspects of what they do and presenting themselves in a very straight, corporate framework – the kind of stuff that perpetuates the typical staid image accountancy has.
For Searle Sessarago we wanted to explore the chance to take a fresh look at what small to medium enterprises are really looking for when they engage an accountant.
Solution:
We asked Searle & Sessarago clients to tell us what they expected from their accountants. What came back was not book keeping or tax profiling, but a way to offload the all-consuming task of tracking their finances. Basically, they wanted their accountant to help them get their life back. And with a good accountant, that’s exactly what happens. They could do what they do well, leave the mundane stuff to +SSFP, and go for a surf or ski.
We provided an entirely fresh profile, cool new branding and a message far removed from the expected.
We broke the mould, lifted them from the mundane, and repositioned them as a partner for life. |
